An awesome way to manage your second city! (for if you have no idea)(and this is not from me by the way)
Two cities: as effective as possible
Okay, so this is a build for having 2 Cities that share resources and both train troops. It maximizes lethality and production, but it is not the only method that works. You can tweak this build how you see fit, to better suit your play style.
FIRST CITY:
Store all troops here. Keep 0 food in this city or your troops will eat it all. Move food over from your 2nd city as you need it for construction, research, and training.
• 6 to 8 Homes (idle population for training)
• 13 to 16 Barracks (faster training)
• Academy
• Tavern
• Forge
• Armory
• Great Hall
• Vault
• Muster Field
• Embassy
• Stable
• Watch Tower
• 1 Farm (for level req)
• 19 Ore Veins
• 1 Quarry (for level req)
• 19 Arboretums
Wilds:
• Woods (Wood bonus)
• Mountains (Ore bonus)
SECOND CITY:
Food storage, makes troops but does NOT store them. Send all troops to 1st City.
• 6 to 8 Homes (idle population for training)
• 13 to 16 Barracks (faster training)
• Forge
• Armory
• Great Hall
• Academy
• Vault
• Muster Field
• Embassy
• Stable
• Watch Tower
• 19 Farms
• 1 Arboretum (for level req)
• 1 Ore Vein (for level req)
• 19 Quarries
Wilds:
• Lakes/Grass (Food bonus)
• Hills (Stone bonus)
TIPS:
• Your 1st city that holds all your troops should be the city with your highest level hero. Level 212 is highly recommended.
• A cheap yet timely method of leveling your hero is to attack 0 might cities or level 1 wilds. Send 1 porter along with your hero and each victory awards 20 xp and each defeat awards 10 xp.
• You should ONLY attack from your 1st city. If you must, you can scout from your 2nd city, but never send attacks from it (besides capturing wilds).
• You should place your hero in Production during "idle times". Assign your hero to Research, Training, and Construction before you start each activity, but once the timer starts, switch your hero back to Production.
